Roma striker Mirko Vucinic took great satisfaction from hitting the winner in Saturday's 1-0 victory at Bari.

Vucinic was happy to score for his former Lecce fans.

He explained: “It was particularly important for me, as I lived in Lecce for seven years. It was a derby for me and I dedicate the win to all the people of Lecce.

“It was tough here, as all the big clubs have struggled at the San Nicola this season. We held out for 90 minutes and like a top class side we took home the points.”
