Real Madrid coach Manuel Pellegrini insists next week's game against Barcelona is not a title decider.

Heading into this weekend's fixtures, both Madrid and Barca were locked on 74 points with the capital club holding the slight upper hand due to their superior goal difference.

"I don't share the idea that the league will be decided in the Madrid-Barca match. After the Clasico there will still be seven games left. The important thing is to respect all our opponents," Pellegrini said.

Real face Racing Santander tonight, with Barcelona having already dispatched Athletic Bilbao 4-1.

"We are focused only on this game and not thinking about Barcelona," added Pellegrini.

"I've always said that the most important game of the season is the next one because when you think you can put less effort in that is when results go against you.

"If we maintain the good run of results we've been having it's because we've treated the next game as the most difficult."

I dont agree,, I think next weeks game is a title decider and also i dont think the primera league decides things on goal difference but decides things trough head to head games (barcelona ady beat madrid this year) so if barca win thn barca favourites if madrid win then i think maybe it be decided on goal difference,,,CORRECT ME IF IM WRONG?
