After losing many key players, Lille bought many new ones to fill up the gaps. Nevertheless, results from the season beginning have shown that, Lille has not yet reached their ideal form, meaning they are not fully recovered from the main structure damage.
Despite having players transfer, Marseille has backed to normal form and started training as fast as they could. Therefore, they are less influenced than Lille. In addition, they had very impressive performances in the warm-up matches.
From the odds offered in the market, Lille has higher odd than Marseille does. It is likely to see Marseille win.

Lille looked in charge after Florent Balmont and Eden Hazard (including fine step over) put them 2-0 up. Andre Ayew pulled one back for OM on 71 but a minute later Lille re-established their two-goal advantage through Moussa Sow (Hazard assist). The game went crazy from 85 minutes, Marseille dramatically took a 4-3 lead by 90 thanks to Jeremy Morel, Loic Remy and an Andre Ayew penalty. Lille looked to have sent the match to penalties when Marko Basa made it 4-4 on 92 but Andre Ayew had the final word three minutes later, completing his hat-trick and an incredible victory.
